DS200SLCCG1AEE and DS215SLCCG1AZZ01B are LAN communication boards designed by General Electric Company (GE) for their Mark V board series. Both boards provide isolated and non isolated circuits for communication with host drivers. The signals sent to the board are filtered by the integrated local area network control processor (LCP). These two boards both include two EPROM memory cartridges for storing programming data for LCP. Both boards include a dual port RAM for LCP to interface with the host driver control board. Users can easily access the diagnosis and system settings of the boards through the accompanying 16 key alphanumeric programmer. These boards communicate with drivers through a local area network (LAN). These boards can communicate through DLAN and ARCNET local networks. The board has a LAN Control Processor (LCP) for performing system communication. The DS215SLCCG1AZZ01B is also equipped with a main microprocessor and system storage space. The LCP software for these boards is stored in two EPROM slots. The communication between the Drive Control Processor (DCP) and LCP occurs in dedicated RAM storage space. There are many connections on the board that can be used to interface with various system functions. For example, 2PL port is used for power connection, 3PL port is used as input point for driver control card, 10PL port is used for LAN I/O terminal board connection of LCP, and ARCPL connection is used for DLAN and ARCNET communication. Users can access the diagnosis and settings of the board through the module programmer and alphanumeric keyboard.
