BASLER A404K Redundant CPU Module Details

The Basler A404K Redundant CPU module is a component of the Basler Electric BE1-11f multifunction protective relay system. This module is designed to provide a redundant backup to the primary CPU module in the event of a failure.

The A404K module includes two separate CPU units that operate in a hot standby configuration. This means that both CPUs are active at all times, with one serving as the primary and the other as the backup. If the primary CPU fails, the backup unit immediately takes over without any interruption to the system’s operation.

The A404K module also includes a redundant power supply to ensure reliable operation even in the event of a power failure. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C and can withstand high levels of shock and vibration.

In addition to providing redundancy for the primary CPU module, the A404K module also includes a number of advanced features to enhance the performance and reliability of the BE1-11f protective relay system. These features include advanced fault detection and diagnostic capabilities, as well as flexible communication options for easy integration into a wide range of power system applications.
