Technical data of product parameters

Defines the derivation time for acceleration compensation. In order to
compensate inertia during acceleration a derivative of the reference is
added to the output of the speed controller. The principle of a derivative action is described for parameter 23.03. Defines the slip gain for the motor slip compensation control. 100%
means full slip compensation; 0% means no slip compensation. The
default value is 100%. Other values can be used if a static speed error

only if both the Master and the Follower are speed-controlled.
The droop rate needs to be set both for the Master and the Follower.
The correct droop rate for a process must be found out case by case in practice.
The drooping prevents a conflict between the Master and the Follower
by allowing a slight speed difference between them. The drooping
slightly decreases the drive speed as the drive load increases. The
actual speed decrease at a certain operating point depends on the
droop rate setting and the drive load ( = torque reference / speed controller output). At 100% speed controller output, drooping is at its nominal level, i.e. equal to the value of the DROOP RATE. The drooping
effect decreases linearly to zero along with the decreasing

The internal torque calculation is good up to torque request of 70% of maximum torque. ‘
At higher torque’s the internally calculated torque is higher the real torque (approximately 7%).
The torque calculation is however affected by the speed calculation which causes the torque
calculation to be erroneous at low speeds.One condition where the speed is low and the torque request is high is when the Measuring Roll is accelerated.The problems that can occur is that the strip is slipping over the Measuring Roll which is ASE2UDC920AE01 3BHB022793R0001
causing that some particles can stick (weld) to the Measuring Roll surface.
The particles that are stuck can cause markings of the strip.
In mill application with high tensions and large wrap angles this probably wont be a problem.
The second condition where the problem can occur is when decelerating.
The speed is high but the requested torque is also over 70%.
This situation is how ever less problematic, due to that the speed is high (speed calculation
is good) and that the error in torque calculation is not big.
Of course problems can again occur at low speeds
