Okuma E0227-702-004 Bubble Memory Card is essentially a memory card that features bubble memory. Bubble memory is a nonvolatile form of computer memory. The memory card contains a thin magnetic film that can accommodate tiny magnetic materials called bubbles. The data transfer rate of this card is 2Mb. This product is used for OPUS 5000 power supplies from the same manufacturer. The operation of this device is very similar to a delay line storage system, with almost no difference. This unit depicts a storage density similar to that of a hard drive. However, unlike a hard drive, the card has no moving parts.
