The Fireye 85UVF1-1QD Flame Detector is a UV scanner designed for use in industrial burner applications. The detector uses ultraviolet radiation to detect the presence of a flame and provides a signal to the burner control system to initiate or continue the fuel flow.
The 85UVF1-1QD detector is designed to detect ultraviolet radiation emitted by flames in the 190-320 nanometer wavelength range. It is designed to be sensitive to both the ultraviolet radiation emitted by flames as well as background radiation from sunlight and other sources, and has a high level of immunity to false alarms.
The detector is designed to be rugged and durable, with a stainless steel housing and a high-temperature quartz viewing window that can withstand temperatures up to 215 degrees Celsius.
